Kareem Hertzog

On April 20, 2010 Kareem Hertzog came to our classroom and presented. He lived and studied Japanese and taught English to Japanese children. Kareem Hertzog was a personal translator for celebrities visiting Japan. He worked with an organization called Habitat for Humanity. This organization helps make homes for others who are less fortunate. He also taught us how to great yourself in Japanese.

Hajimemashite Kareem desu. Dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Pleasure to meet you for the first time. I am Kareem. (polite form)

Saying the way to greet some one in japanese.

We are raising our hands to greet  in japanese.

Kareem is explaining how to introduce yourself in Japanese.

He writes on the board how it looks and sounds.
